YouTube is a large video streaming platform and the audience base is vast. There are many age groups on this platform that consumes the content. Now kids also use this platform and a massive part of the audience is kids. There are various kinds of content are available on YouTube. That is why now the platform is introducing many restrictions for users. Many videos can be inappropriate below a certain age. 1.       Keep the content according to age:

If you are making a video only for kids then keep one thing in mind, not every video is suitable for kids. You should always follow the community guidelines before announcing the video as ‘Made for Kids’. You should always be concerned about the age of your audience and make the video according to it. as a content creator it is very difficult to maintain all the guidelines but if you are willing to make videos only for kids then you need to avoid certain language, way of presentation, jokes, or any hateful comment. 2.       Do not make too much promotion:

Videos that are only ‘Made for Kids’ are not meant to be overly promoted. For example, if you are creating a video based on a toy, then don’t make the video in a way where you only talk about the toy. It can instigate a child and force their parents to purchase it. There is the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, which has many guidelines like this. You can promote the toy for a small bit but try to keep it minimal. Even if you are being sponsored, don’t make the video only about the toy. Try to include different aspects of the video.

3.       Be a good role model:

A child has very less amount of exposure in their life. There are only a few things that they can experience and learn from them. A kid can only see certain contents that are made for kids. So there is no one else that they can look up to. If a kid is watching your video, then there are a lot of chances that the kid admires you and considers you as their role model. If you are making videos only for a certain age group then you have to present yourself in a way that is suitable and relatable for a kid. So, when you are being a role model then try to become a good one and do not influence a child with any kind of bad things. Whenever you are uploading a video, before doing that revise the video thoroughly and make sure that it is not harmful in a manner.
